The Board of Directors for the Oak Grove Fire Protection District are elected representatives of the citizens in the district. They serve as the ultimate authority for the fire district under Oklahoma State Statutes Title 19 and act in a similar capacity as a city council would to a municipality. Elections occur at regular intervals and any taxpaying citizen is eligible to run after following proper registration guidelines with the Wagoner County Election Board.

Monthly meetings are held at the Oak Grove Fire Station, 395 S 273 E Ave at 6pm on the Third Friday of every month.
