Arson Defined

The act of arson is defined as “the willful or malicious burning of property (as a building) especially with criminal or fraudulent intent.” In Oklahoma arson is classified into four degrees, and the State Fire Marshal’s office is charged with investigating suspicious fires and arresting those responsible. If you have reason to believe that someone is committing the act of arson in the Oak Grove area please report it to us at 596-9977.
